BACKSLASH BY NIGHT
Step in and discover a selection of 35 interventions, taking over the entire Gessnerallee complex. Composed mostly of forward-thinking electronic live acts, the programme also hosts a series of performances and DJ sets. Friday & Saturday, 20:00 to 07:00.

BACKSLASH BY DAY
We invite you to be an active part of the festival through the various day activities and experiments including a discussion podium, film screenings and workshops on modular synthesis, analog film and disruptive facial recognition. Saturday & Sunday, 15:00 to 20:00.

The festival is organised by the non-profit association Tokyo Data Collective and co-produced by the theatre Gessnerallee. The collective’s main focus is to develop projects setting up transdisciplinary symmetries between video art, sound architecture, performance, interactive design and fine arts.
